Living in unprecedented times, there is consolation in having “joy,” even as we face the challenges of life. Offering personalized play-dates and engaging experiences, we are a group of trained professionals that range from educators, child behavior specialists, and therapists. We believe in a world in which every child has access to joy. We instill and encourage the proven JOY Method that teaches adolescents how to discover their true happiness and maximize inner harmony and peace. Despite life’s uncertainties- joy is not canceled. JOY is all around!
JOY exists everywhere and should be experienced throughout one’s life.
If you enjoy communicating, playing, inspiring and working with children we would like to meet you.
Joy Is Everywhere is a growing organization in the community. We are expanding programs, growing our staff, board and volunteers. Our goals include establishing ourselves in our marketplace with consistent and focused messaging, increasing our division of labor and accountability, expanding our board including key volunteer roles, and establishing relationships with funders and donors. In order to accomplish these goals, we need key volunteers to serve as organizational Ambassadors.
People who agree to serve as Ambassadors would do the following:
- Donate/pledge to Joy Is Everywhere Inc.
- Provide linkage with corporations and foundations or community organizations
- Be a positive spokesperson for Joy Is Everywhere, learn key messages and elevator speech
- Open doors to prospects via phone calls, introductions and scheduling meetings
- Solicit major gifts; assist with special events, donor recognition, thank you notes, etc.
Volunteers are a key link between Joy Is Everywhere and the prospective donor/leader community. Your support as an ambassador helps the nonprofit organization maximize their reach and increase awareness. By being an ambassador, you may open new doors for the nonprofit organization to attract program participants, raise funds and recruit volunteers.
As an Ambassador Volunteer, you will agree to do the following:
- Lend Name. Ambassadors will agree to allow the organization to use their name in public relations materials and in solicitation of key prospects throughout the area.
- Spokesperson. Speak positively about the organization and the campaign, and be prepared to answer basic questions. Rely on staff and key personnel for detailed information.
- Open Doors. Review the prospect list and indicate those with whom they can arrange a meeting. Also suggest new prospects to add to our list.
- Gift. Make a gift up to your financial ability. We seek 100% participation by Ambassadors.
- Confidentiality. Maintain confidentiality at all times as donor/prospect information is shared with committee members.
